A Talassio Team Party of Dreams

The Grand Hotel Alassio celebrated its connection with the region at the annual “Talassio Team Party” event, where they also revealed an esteemed award.

This year, the magical atmosphere of the “Talassio Team Party” pervaded the Genoa Aquarium, where more than one hundred employees of the group had the privilege of exploring the underwater wonders in an exclusive experience among sharks, manatees, seals, cylinders, piranhas, amazon, penguins and jellyfish. After a bubbly and finger food buffet, the team moved to the atmospheric Shark Room, where the placé corporate dinner and end-of-year party were held, immersed in an enchanting atmosphere.

During this special moment, Director Gianluca Borgna proudly announced that the Grand Hotel Alassio has joined the prestigious collection of the world’s most renowned independent hotels, The Leading Hotels of the World. This remarkable milestone crowns four years of success, launched with the arrival of the youthful Tuscan manager and bolstered by the ambitious investment strategy of the Vinai family.

“We are delighted to have joined this big family, which brings the Grand Hotel and the whole destination into a new perspective. The destination should aim to position itself in a higher-end market, and with a Leading hotel, two Relais Chateaux, and two Michelin stars – along with numerous other remarkable features – it is reasonable to have high hopes. This great achievement is the result of great teamwork and an innovative hospitality concept that puts our people first and foremost at the center of our thoughts. When our staff are well, our guests are well. And at the core of it all, that is truly what matters.” says Gianluca Borgna.

During the annual Talassio Team Party, individuals who stood out throughout the season were recognized with special accolades. Nataliya Sukova received the esteemed title of Team Member of the Year, while Dario Toscani was acknowledged as the Team Player of the Year. Adji Diagne received the “Lusso Gentile” award of the Year, and Laura Massirio was commended for being the Best Listener of the Year.
