Think of a sort of health & beauty Eden, combining esthetics and wellness with a medical concept deployed in seven thalassotherapy rooms (equipped with Osmosis, Vichy e Talax baths), specific cabins for medical consultancy and physiotherapy. Add the new Thalassio Gym, a modern 70 square mt space enhanced with new, totally digital Technogym machines, with the possibility of being looked after by a personal trainer.
As an GHA exclusive, this year Nuar Gallery created within Thalassio SPA the first Decompression Room, done in collaboration with the artist Massimo Catalani. The experience proposed by this international artist will immerse
all the guests into a submarine trip surrounded by sperm whales and humpbacks – not only a visionary experience, but also an opportunity for us to reflect on the importance of protecting our oceans and their wonderful
inhabitants.
As a fact, part of the proceedings from the sale of the works will fund no-profit associations for the safeguard of marine environments. The works installed in the room and the special light effects create an intimate space to escape from reality and relax in meditation sessions or one-to-ones with the best mental detox specialists. The SPA area also features a wellness path, from Finnish Sauna to Hammam, to aromatic bath with herbs,
ice fountain, Kneipp path – based on hydrotherapy – to chromotherapy. Beyond this you’ll find sea water hydroenergetic massages, liquid algae from Brittany and aromatic oils to renovate energy and vitality and to reactivate blood circulation; detox massages and total body scrub in osmosis; lipolytic treatments to improve skin tonus and elasticity.
For a 360° regeneration, Thalassio Medical SPA also offers purification and wellness improvement paths through sensory rituals. You can choose among our Oriental Detox path (soft esfoliation, wrapping, reshaping massage), Atlantic Plunge revitalizing path (gommage using seaweed
scales, immersion in a regenerating iodised bubble, revitalizing reshaping massage), and Amazon Escape energizing path (deep esfoliation, wrapping and energizing tonifying reshaping massage).
