Executive Chef e F&B: ROBERTO BALGISI
Born in Varese in 1973, he attended the hotel school of Sondalo and started his career in the kitchen very early, working in Como, Lake Maggiore, France and Switzerland, including Relais, Grand Hotel and Michelin star restaurants.
In 2003 he opened his restaurant in Vercelli, the first only based on fish and seafood cuisine (Osteria Boccalatte) and in 2007 Casa Mia his secondo restaurant. Finally, since 2015, he landed on the pearl of the Riviera delle Palme: the Grand Hotel Alassio Resort & SPA.
In these three years, Roberto’s creative cuisine has undergone an important evolution, thanks also to the context and the frame in which he has been able to express himself, reaching a perfect union between the refinement of its dishes and the exaltation of flavours, without ever neglecting their freshness and simplicity.
